B-SAFE is a summer program of St. Stephen's Youth Programs that provides a safe, fun, academically enriching environment for more than 600 elementary and middle school students at six Episcopal church and school sites in Boston and Chelsea. B-SAFE also offers meaningful work experience for teens and young adults hired as counselors-in-training and staff.
The program receives support through the diocesan budget and through partnerships with 55 Episcopal churches that provide volunteers, lunches and field trips.
Each summer, Church of the Good Shepherd serves lunch and co-hosts a field trip for the students.

El Hogar
El Hogar provides a loving home and education to 250 children born into extreme poverty in Honduras, enabling them to fulfill their ultimate potential as productive, caring, and independent Honduran citizens. At El Hogar, the children receive a high-quality education, and learn a marketable trade which makes them employable in their country. They learn love, respect, and a sense of their own ability to break this cycle of poverty and despair, not just for themselves, but for their family, community, and country. Good Shepherd supports El Hogar through financial donations and service trips. Click here (www.elhogar.org) for more information about El Hogar or call 781-729-2600.
